Manusciences 2019 

Franco-German Spring School, Villa Clythia, FREJUS, France, March 10-15,
2019.
manuSciences'19 will focus on a multi-facetted investigation of
manuscripts adding new chemical and physical analyses, imaging methods
and techniques from computer sciences to classical philology,
paleography, codicology, linguistics and history.

SUNOIKISIS DIGITAL CLASSICS SPRING 2019 

The programme of Sunoikisis Digital Classics Spring 2019 organised by
Gabriel Bodard and Marja Vierros is now available. More information on
each session will soon be added.

d-scribes team is to invite you to two short presentations related  to
Ancient Manuscripts Analysis in Basel: 

TANMOY MONDAL, Université La Rochelle: Intelligent Processing of Ancient
Manuscripts: Binarization, Word/Line Segmentation, Word Spotting, Font
Style Recognition, Writer Identification. 

HUSSEIN ADNAN MOHAMMED, M.Sc. Researcher at the Centre for the Study of
Manuscript Cultures - Universität Hamburg:  Computational Analysis of
Writing Style in Digitised Manuscripts,  

Thursday 22nd November 2018 at 18.15 in Rosshofgasse (Schnitz),
Seminarraum S 01.
