Dear D-scribes members,


My PhD student Nina Eckertz at Colourlab, NTNU, Norway is currently
carrying  out a survey to users  of various imaging technologies and
software in the field of cultural heritage, and I would very much
appreciate it if you  would take 15 minutes to participate. It is available

Whether you are a conservator, conservation scientist, archeologist,
photographer, researcher, scholar, programmer, or in other ways work
with different imaging modalities (Conventional photography, spectral
imaging, UV or IR, microscopy, ...) related to objects of cultural
heritage, we want your perspective!

Also please forward this message to colleagues in your group, and also
in your broader network if you can.

As context - this survey is part of Nina's PhD project conducted at the
Colourlab, NTNU in cooperation with the Munch Museum, Oslo. We are
currently developing a 2D multimodal imaging platform for conservators
to ease the analysis of tangible artefacts, e.g., paintings, textiles or
maps. Hence we are interested in learning about how you work with
imaging technology and which software you use. Further, we are
interested in gathering insights into your job responsibilities and
which challenges that occur in your projects. Your responses will help
us identify key needs and develop tools tailored to your work.
